Puzzle Trails

Last night, while you were unpacking, you dropped a water bottle under the bed.  In your scramble to retrieve it, you see a small book tucked under the mattress.  You pull it out and it appears to be your great-great grandfather’s journal from his time at the Biltmore Forestry School.  You have certainly heard references to him attending the school, but are not sure why he would go to such great lengths to hide his old journal.  You suspect that means it contains something important.  Unfortunately, it’s locked.
